After reflecting on the issues of “integration and improvement” and comparing a range of ideas, we proposed a “green ecological chain” model of development for the site.
Starting with these diagnoses of the existing surroundings and future functional orientation of the city, we created several functional zones which we then connected by means of an internal individual transport system. These zones are also infiltrated by green corridors. The ensemble of the new town will be like a green mosaic inserted into the site.
This can also be seen as the creation of a new town with a mix of components: residential and commercial areas, offices, high-tech, cultural and administrative facilities, a service hub and leisure and tourism hubs, etc.
The functional zones are organised in line with the logic of human activities and the economic characteristics of each zone. In this way, the project will become a new centre representative of the richness of the region.
